Job Description

​​​​​​​Evaluates and recommends loan applications ensuring compliance to existing policies and procedures, and all deviations are covered with proper justification and approvals. Manages team’s performance through training, coaching, mentoring and continuous people development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts thorough background verification and other credit investigation activities on potential consumer loan borrowers
  • Performs credit investigation of potential borrowers (if needed):
  • NFIS/CMAP
  • Business Verification
  • Bank Verification (deposits/loans)
  • Trade Verification
  • Lease Verification / LTFRB checking
  • Employment Verification
  • POEA verification
  • Personal Data interview
  • Validates and examines the veracity and authenticity of supporting loan documents
  • Analyzes and recommends a credit decision on a consumer loan application
  • Ensures loan documentation requirements are complete and in order
  • Ensures that credit assistant’s recommendations are accurate and exhaustive, and routed timely for approval
  • Acts as a custodian of all loan documentations and ensures that all credit folders are complete and in order
  • Implements process initiatives to make sure required productivity and turn-around time are met
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time, in any location designated for the task

Minimum Qualifications

  • Educational Attainment and Work Experience
    • Must be a college graduate of any business-related course
    • At least 2 years experience in consumer loans particularly in underwriting or credit investigation with a bank or financing company
  • Technical Competencies
    • Proficient in Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Good communicator both in written and verbal
