Job Description
- Ensure that all cash sales and sales from other income are secured at the end of the day and deposited on a daily basis
- Enters daily information into revenue audit report forms, run back-up reports
- Prepares journal entries, track coupons used on property, sorts and records complimentary receipts
- Reconcile accounts on a regular basis
- Assist with the monitoring of all financial activities on property with respect to revenue accounting to ensure that all applicable laws, rule and regulations, and controls of the company are enforced throughout the Revenue Accounting operations of the Finance department
- Evaluates various situations with respect to revenue audits and determine how best to handle same
- Ensure a maximum level of companywide service and satisfaction in the area of revenue accounting is achieved and maintained
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the area of Finance.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of software application is essential.
- Income audit and night audit experience in the hotel industry is a definite advantage.
