Supply and Demand Analyst  

Purpose of the Job

This position is responsible for inventory planning, monitoring and control of products and non-products stored in the central warehouse and beauty centers.

The role will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Operations.

INVENTORY CONTROL

• Responsible for inventory planning, provides management with accurate inventory information to support business decision on, but not limited to:
• • Critical Stocks
  • Expiration
  • Stock Availability per location
  • Inventory Cost
• In charge of quarterly and annual physical inventory count in the main warehouse and all beauty centers, ensure physical count against system balance are reconciled. Collaborate with warehouse management team to explain any inventory variance noted. Posts actual inventory count result in the system.
• Ensures integrity and accuracy of the stock management system.
• Ensures that incoming product shipment is fully accounted for and posted in the system.
• Analysis regular line (RL) and promo forecast to ensure sufficient stock on hand.
• Collaborate with the local Marketing team, Global Inventory Control (GIC) and Forecasting Team in Dallas to ensure that the regular line and promo forecasts are updated regularly.
• Stays informed of all new promotions, products and services.
• Formulates procedures related to control inventory at the main warehouse and Beauty Centers.
• Generates and reviews the weekly Critical Report to ensure alignment with Global Inventory Control (GIC) report. Ensures that items with less than 3 months inventory level are covered with shipments from Dallas. Sources out items from other markets / subsidiaries, as needed.
• Identifies and recommends items that need to be air shipped to ensure inventory level at the warehouses are sufficient and to meet forecast. Computes for the estimated freight cost of items for air shipment and freight cost-to-net sales ratio to serve as basis for Management decision.
• Responsible for JDE transactions entry:
  • Receiving of materials and services (e.g., inventory and non-inventory items, assembled and disassembled sets)
  • Pre-pack Assembly
  • Pre-pack Disassembly
  • Stock Transfer (Regular Line and Promo pre-packs)
  • Inventory Adjustment (e.g., order deletion, inventory variance adjustment)
  • Inventory Transfer to hold location for near expiry and damaged stocks (all warehouse location
  • Stock Withdrawal (RWS)
  • Back Order Release
  • Ship Confirm Order
• Recommends streamlining and standardization of processes to facilitate logistics and enhance efficiencies.
• Organizes importation and exportation documentation and activities ahead of time.
• Supervise the effectiveness of brokerage partners on activities with government agencies (BOC, BIR).
• Partner up with Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor on the status of incoming shipments from Dallas and/or other markets and updates the reports correspondingly.
• Provides inventory updates during bi-weekly SMOPI Meeting and weekly Supply Chain / Ops Meeting.
• Participates in the monthly Rolling Forecast call with Forecasting Team in Dallas.
• Compile following inventory reports, anlaysis and highlight key findings for Management attention :
  • Stock Status Report – weekly
  • Critical Report – weekly
  • Excess & Obsolescence Report – Monthly
  • Quality Report – Monthly
  • Defects per Million (DPM) – Monthly
  • GSCC - monthly
• Acts as Product Data Coordinator by being responsible for the following:
  • Requesting for part no. from China IST Team
  • Updating for item description, G/L class code, unit cost, HTC codes, and supplier code
  • Coordinating with Finance on the cost roll up
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by his / her superior from time to time.

Education Knowledge & Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years work experience in supply chain preferably in the field of inventory or demand planning from FMCG / Third Party Distributors / Retail Industry.
• Must have in depth-understanding of the principles, methods, procedures of Supply Chain and how the area integrates with other sub-functions and must have basic commercial awareness.
• Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Accounting or Commerce. Graduate of Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
• Highly Proficient in the use of JDE and Microsoft Office
