Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
- This position is part of our R&D Innovation agile team and we are looking for a Back End Java Developer
- You will be involved in the development of new products and can expect a great opportunity to innovate and showcase your skills
- You will have the responsibility to develop, deploy and maintain back-end web applications in cloud infrastructures
- You will have the opportunity to stay up to date with industry trends and best technologies with an access to the top online learning platforms
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement Java back-end solutions from scratch with modern frameworks
- Expose robust REST APIs and ensure data protection
- Manage hosting environments, including database administration
- Write unit tests to provide sufficient testing coverage for each developed components
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / Post Graduate Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
- 1-3 years working experience in Java web server development
- Experience working with different databases (SQL or NoSQL) and knowledge on data architecture
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployment & operations (e.g. Amazon Web Services)
- Good written and oral English communication
- Must have the ability to learn quickly and have a positive attitude
