Logistics Manager  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Manages all aspects of the product supply chain consisting of production planning, material control, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.
• Negotiates contracts and manages the performance of suppliers to ensure availability of supply at all times per sales forecast or market demand.
• Develops and utilizes enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that supports production planning, capacity planning, and operational management.
• Directs the movement, storage or processing of inventory, minimizing shortages, and keeping costs down.
• Examines existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet product distribution needs.
• Proposes activities to limit costs and improve accuracy and delivery.
• Ensures compliance with import and export processing requirements.
• Formulates policies and strategies in coordination with production and various support work groups to improve productivity and efficiency of operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any Management/Business Course.
  • Master’s degree is an advantage but not required.
• At least 5 years of managerial experience handling similar functions gained from manufacturing, electronics, or semiconductor company.
• Expertise in capacity planning and production scheduling, enterprise resource planning, purchasing, logistics, inventory control, shipping, and similar functions.
• Familiar with PEZA, BOC, and other relevant government agency requirements on importation and export processing.
• Understanding of ERP system, legal contracts, and good business ethics.
• Required skills in communication, effective presentation, project management, negotiation, analysis, and problem solving.
