Senior Programmer  

• Collaborates with software development team in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
• Analyzes and assesses existing business systems and procedures.
• Assists in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users and departments.
• Assists in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
• Researches, identifies, analyzes, and fulfils requirements of all internal and external program users.
• Conducts research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
• Liaises with vendors for efficient implementation of new software products or systems and for resolution of any adaptation issue.
• Recommends, schedules, and performs software improvements and upgrades.
• Liaises with network and infra administrators, system analyst, and application support to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
• Consistently writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to specifications.
• Writes programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance or company applications, as necessary.
• Designs, runs and monitors software performance test on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
• Administers critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas,
• Generates statistics and writes reports for management and/or team members on the status of the programming process.
• Develops and maintains user manuals and guidelines.
• Trains end-users to operate new or modified programs.
• Installs software products for end-users as required.

• College graduate of Computer Science or Information Technology - any IT related course
• 5-8 years of work experience in software development (Supervisory experience)
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills (oral/written)

Technical Requirements:

• Programming language: VB6, VB.Net, C#, PHP, Android, JSON, Java
• Knowledge in Database Management System: Oracle DB and MS SQL
• Operating System: Microsoft Windows, Linux, Android and iOS
• Knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Required Skills:

• Advance skill in configuring and supporting software applications.
• Strong knowledge in writing complex SQL queries.
• Strong software development and debug/troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced ability to research, analyze and recommend improvements to the organization’s use of the software applications.
• Advanced skill in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Effective communications skills; verbal, non-verbal and written; and ability to communicate on all levels of the organization.
• Meets or exceeds expectations on process turnaround for assigned tasks and follow-ups, and issue resolution to closure.
• Can stand long hours of work even holidays, or on-call when the need arises
