Job Description
Objectives:
- Provide day to day administrative and office support in various areas of Human Resources functions.
- Enhance the performance of staffs and achieve the company’s business goal.
- Add value to the company.
- Serve as the first contact for all HR related queries. Hire, develop and look after employees. This involves functions such as
- training and monitoring performance
- provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.
- Ensure that the company employs the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience.
To carry responsibilities in the following areas:
- Recruitment
- Induction & Integration
- Payroll
- Leave, Dismissals, Redundancies
- Grievances
- Holidays, Absences & Lates
- General Administrative & Ad hoc duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems;
- Provide counseling on policies and procedures;
- Create and implement onboarding plans;
- Develop training and development programs;
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues;
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process;
- Assist in performance management process;
- Maintain employee records, according to policy and legal requirements;
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance;
- Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resources information confidential;
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
- Substantiates applicants’ skills by administering and scoring tests;
- Schedule examinations by coordinating appointments;
- Provides payroll information by collecting time and attendance records;
- Welcomes new employees to the organization by conducting orientations;
- Deals with employee complaints and discipline procedures;
- Working with other Managers, improving employees experiences of the workplace.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/College Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology or any equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- 2-3 years Experienced Employee specialized in Human Resources or equivalent is a plus
- Can work under pressure
- Has keen attention to detail
