About the role
The Tagging Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing digital analytics tagging solutions across various digital channels. The Specialist will be responsible for analysis, development, testing, implementing, and supporting Agile Delivery and Analytics teams.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, troubleshoot, QA, and audit tagging, creative, and delivery across paid media campaigns including search, programmatic, display, and mobile apps
• Create and maintain documentation around media & data taxonomies to ensure high data quality for reporting, insights, and analysis
• Monitor discrepancies and perform technical troubleshooting across ad tech vendors
• Design, implement, and document customized analytics digital tagging/tracking specifications for digital content
• Develop and publish Tag Management metrics, ensure tag audits are conducted and results published on regular basis, track and manage all tag requests (internal and external) end-to-end
• Manage various Tag Management platforms/solutions
• Coordinate data ingestion feeds and web tag updates while ensuring data quality and accuracy
• Handle data preparation and data analysis portions of various projects
• Ensure accuracy of results produced from digital tags as a result of data analysis
• Document and maintain a copy of pixel/tag requests from the different teams
• Use mobile proxy tools to validate analytics tagging across mobile applications and mobile web tagging
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a Web Analytics and Tagging role
• Experience with GTM, GA, Facebook, Tealium or similar Tag Management platforms and tools
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and jQuery to implement custom digital tagging
• Experience with eCommerce software such as Shopify
• Experience with Google Analytics, specifically troubleshooting and QA
• Experience in digital paid media platforms
• Experience with Digital Media and exposure to web optimization strategies
• Exposure to media buying/selling environment (agency or publisher) is strongly preferred
• Experience in working in Ad Tech or MarTech environment
• Must be a detail-oriented, creative thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Requires independent completion of work with sound judgment and discretion.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables at the same time and work effectively in a team environment
• Has the ability to complete projects of varying size and complexity
