Compensation and Benefits Specialist  

Employees

• Preparation of payroll reports and review of computations for payroll related taxes and entitlements
• Preparation of BIR Form for Taxes on Compensation (BIR Form 1601C)
• Preparation of Remittance Reports of SSS, PHIC and HDMF
• Monitoring of loans for salary deduction from SSS and HDMF
• Preparation of Employee documentations (Authority to deduct & Certifications)
• Preparation of post-onboarding employment related documentation
• Maintaining employee lists and payroll records

Vendors

• Preparation of contracts for vendors and facilitating execution
• Monitoring of vendor performance and conducting performance related tasks
• Preparation of documents/certification of vendors e.g. withholding certificates, certificate of freelance work
• Reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy and facilitating approval from stakeholders Preparation of contractor payment schedules
• Monitoring, compilation, and filing of documentation for vendors

Expense and Benefit Monitoring

• Processing and payment of reimbursement claims in line with company policy
• Monitoring of company benefits such as gym and professional education allowances

• Have at least 2-3 years payroll related experience
• Have sound understanding of labor laws and employee/vendor related taxation
• Have experience working in a private company environment across multiple teams
• Have excellent communication skills and a personable approach

These would also be an advantage:

• An accountancy background
• Experience in using cloud accounting and/or payroll software
• Experience in managing output-based vendors
• Experience in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment
