Interior Designer  

Interior Designer translates the design vision for spaces, furniture, signage, etc. into reality. This person moderates the production operation from creating construction designs, sourcing of the right material/product, manage biddings, monitor actual production operations, and delivery of the actual product. This person needs to ensure that the final product is consistent with the design vision and the clients' needs and budget.

Principal Accountabilities

• Serves as a liaison between creative team and supplier, from the creation of construction designs, quality control, and until timely delivery of final products.
• Constantly updates the database of accredited suppliers by sourcing for new suppliers/contractors per item/product and discarding questionable suppliers
• Responsible for looking and ordering samples, mock-ups, supplies, and services for production
• Manage biddings and negotiates with the supplier and/or the contractors to get the best price without jeopardizing the quality and timeliness of the output.
• Ensures that contracts benefit and protect the company such as maintaining confidentiality and negotiating terms.
• Manages general production operations and develops, maintains and enables standards policies consistent with company interests.
• Provides the product specifications of the design vision from the creative team
• Coordinates with suppliers/contractors to ensure that ensures that all deliverables are complete, of good quality, on time and consistent with the creative team’s vision of the design and the clients’ needs
• Schedules delivery of production and tracks the progress on every deliverables and produce a weekly report via spreadsheet; May expedite production of collaterals to meet the schedule

• Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Interior Design, Industrial Design or any related fields.
• 1 – 2 years’ experience as an Interior Designer, Production Assistant and Designer or any field related
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and vendor-relationship skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• A keen eye for detail, and has a good sense of aesthetics
• High degree of negotiation skills and sales ability for terms and discounts while maintaining quality
• Problem solving and documentation skills.
• Be able to work under pressure and manage workload effectively
• Be highly self-motivated and well organized
• Possess good leadership, people and project management skills.
