Finance Manager  

Finance Manager is responsible for the process of recording, analyzing and accurately reporting the financial transactions of the company. The role will drive the timely and quality month end closing, reporting, and reconciliation and will ensure compliance with internal control and prescribed company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drive and play an active role in timely financial close process(es)
• Participate in preparation of month-end journal entries and account reconciliations
• In charge of intercompany accounts and treasury
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for posting to general ledger
• Maintain balance sheet schedules, income statement and other reports to summarize and interpret the company’s financial results
• Ensure tax and other statutory compliance
• Determine accuracy of account balances, financial postings and calculations
• Monitor key finance indicators and participate in introducing effectiveness of processes and controls
• Engage in projects for systems implementations and/or processes related improvements
• Liaise with external auditors, 3rd party provider, and government agencies
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• CPA and qualified compiler with Board of Accountancy
• MBA is an advantage
• Minimum 5-years solid experience in finance and accounting from semiconductor industry or shared services set up.
• Big 4 audit experience a plus
• IAS/IFRS knowledge or similar certification is an advantage
• SAP, MS Excel and Other MS Office Applications proficiency
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
