Job Description

Algoritma Data Science School's marketing team excels in delivering top-notch content, including events, webinars, and digital media (social media, articles, e-books), to educate our audience on the transformative power of data science. While we offer premium workshops, the majority of our content is free, aiming to showcase the benefits of data science education.

We are seeking a dynamic Event & Partnership Intern, with the potential for full-time conversion, to elevate our content delivery, webinars, and events. This position presents an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact in:

Event Management:

  • Organize a variety of events and workshops, surpassing attendance goals and ensuring an outstanding learning experience.
  • Collaborate with other teams (Product, Business Development, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing) to organize and promote event.
  • Utilize event marketing platforms like Loket and Meetup for event promotion and registration tracking.
  • Handle venue and supplier negotiations, logistics, and coordination.
  • Lead pre-event planning, including speaker and team coordination, and act as the event MC/moderator.


  • Strengthen and expand partnerships with government bodies, professionals, businesses, and data science communities to educate and expand our audience.
  • Develop proposals for events and partnerships and engage in activities to broaden our reach.

Public Relations:

  • Manage all PR campaigns and activities, including writing press releases and handling public and media relations.

Project Management:

  • Lead projects from start to finish, requiring strong project management skills.

Minimum Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Fresh Graduate with a degree in Marketing or Communication or graduate with 1-2 years relevant experience in digital / traditional marketing, PR, events, and social media.
  • Passionate about technology, startups, and data science.
  • Proactive, flexible, and detail-oriented, with a willingness to undertake various projects, including event setup and cleanup.
  • Experience in an iterative environment, comfortable with minimal supervision but high expectations.
  • Aligns with Algoritma’s culture of positivity, eagerness to learn, and strong interpersonal and creative skills.
  • High integrity, excellent multitasking, communication, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Indonesian and English, with strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
