	<li>Design of Compensation and Benefit guidelines and policies based on systemic and systematic data analysis of the University landscape</li>
	<li>Review of all matters pertaining to compensation and benefits administration</li>
	<li>Final approval of routine implementation/administration of compensation guidelines and policies</li>

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

I. Strategy/Policy Development and Management

<ul>
	<li>Assists the ohross Director and Assistant Director in drafting the University’s Total Rewards (compensation and benefits) strategies.</li>
	<li>Develops with key University administrators the compensation and benefits philosophy and programs, in light of government laws and regulations, cost efficiency and effectiveness, industry competitiveness, and market volatility.</li>
	<li>Develops, reviews, implements, and communicates the Total Rewards policies and guidelines.</li>
	<li>Researches and benchmarks on total rewards trends that will impact the University.</li>
	<li>Oversees the documentation of the Section’s policies, procedures, and practices</li>
</ul>

II. Total Rewards Review and Evaluation

<ul>
	<li>Performs data and cost analyses that may be used to guide the management in making decisions during Collective Bargaining, implementation of total reward increases, etc.</li>
	<li>Designs measures to evaluate the total rewards programs and policies.</li>
	<li>Designs, updates, and monitors the University’s salary structure and compensation programs.</li>
	<li>Analyzes employee data and trends to generate recommendations, guide decision-making, and support the Section’s program.</li>
</ul>

III. Total Rewards Administration

<ul>
	<li>Oversees the compensation administration.
	<ul style="list-style-type: circle;">
		<li>Prepares and recommends total rewards packages that may be offered to shortlisted candidates across employee categories</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Oversees the administration and implementation of employee benefits like retirement plans, health and life insurances, employee leaves, educational assistance, etc.
	<ul style="list-style-type: circle;">
		<li>Oversees the accurate and timely implementation of benefits and scheduled salary deductions, as necessary.</li>
		<li>Coordinates with Central Accounting Office for matters concerning payout of salaries and benefits</li>
		<li>Keeps apprised of plan coverage, policies, and procedures of availment</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Attends to queries regarding compensation and benefits, and provides advice/guidance on total rewards.</li>
</ul>

IV. Coordination and Collaboration with Stakeholders

<ul>
	<li>Maintains linkages with insurance providers, brokers, government agencies, and other institutions that have direct involvement in the administration of employee benefits.</li>
	<li>Negotiates with partner organizations for special requirements.</li>
</ul>

V. School-based Account Management

<ul>
	<li>Liaises with one school unit for their HR-related concerns and requirements.</li>
	<li>Facilitates communication between the school unit and concerned sections of HR.</li>
</ul>

VI. Section Management

<ul>
	<li>Prepares and monitors the budget for the Total Rewards Section.</li>
	<li>Reviews the Section’s processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective delivery of service.</li>
	<li>Supervises the work and manages the performance of Section’s personnel.</li>
</ul>

VII. Performs other duties as may be required by the Immediate Supervisor and authorized representative.
