Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice President for University Partnerships and Internationalization (AVP-UPI), the Marketing and Communications Officer II is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to promote the University's internationalization efforts, engage with diverse stakeholders, and enhance Ateneo de Manila’s global reputation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

I. Strategic Communication and Content Creation: 

<ul>
	<li>Plan, lead, and manage the creation of high-quality content, including articles, press releases, newsletters, brochures, etc, to showcase the OAVP-UPI’s key projects, events, initiatives, etc</li>
	<li>Conceptualize, create, and edit communique to and for various audiences, both internal and external, ensuring that information is communicated in an effective and efficient manner;</li>
	<li>Coordinate with various stakeholders on relevant marketing and communication matters,</li>
	<li>Create graphic and visual materials in support of the OAVP-UPI’s marketing and PR goals;</li>
	<li>Organize and manage marketing and communication resources / materials to ensure that they are securely documented and filed</li>
</ul>

 

II. Public Relations and Social Media Management Management

<ul>
	<li>Manage and create content for the Office’s social media presence, including website updates, social media postings, and email campaigns.</li>
	<li>Drafts, posts, and manages social media and marketing content, promotional materials, and information campaigns;</li>
	<li>Monitors visitor engagements, and reviews and summarizes web / social media analytics to measure the success of social media campaign using data-driven techniques,</li>
	<li>Ensure that the OAVP-UPI’s website contains accurate and up-to-date information that is compliant with University policies and standards.</li>
	<li>Write and compile media/press releases for events and other academic milestones, based on approved official messaging and information for sending/distribution to external stakeholders (e.g., donors, partner institutions, media, public sector, and other parties of interest)</li>
	<li>Craft and implement a comprehensive social media plan and strategy, mindful of target audiences and engagement objectives, and continuously monitor its efficacy.</li>
</ul>

 

III. Marketing Collaterals and Merchandise

<ul>
	<li>Conceptualize and propose digital and / or printed marketing collaterals (e.g., posters, bulletins, newsletters, brochures, flyers, presentations, etc.) and merchandise (shirts, caps, jackets, pens, stickers, and other apparel) that support and promote the OAVP-UPI’s goals</li>
	<li>Lead the in-house production of basic marketing collaterals and, when necessary, engage third-party service providers for more complex production requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.</li>
	<li>Ensure the alignment of designs of all produced materials and collaterals with existing University policies, standards, and brand guidelines.</li>
</ul>

Head of Sales and Acquisitions

Summary of Work Activities and Responsibilities:

 
The Marketing and Communications Officer II develops, implements, monitors and 
evaluates an annual resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement communications plan that supports the over-all resource mobilization goals and stakeholder engagement strategies of Ateneo that is consistent with its mission and values. The position works closely, and will be under the creative direction of the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO).

 
Main Duties and Responsibilities: 
I. Communication and Public Relations

<ul>
	<li>Develops and executes strategic communication plans that emphasizes resource mobilization activities, subject to the review and endorsement of the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) to ensure compliance with University branding guidelines
	<ul>
		<li>Conceptualizes, develops and manages the production of communication and marketing materials/collaterals needed for all resource mobilization campaigns and events; including but not limited to engagement and formation, awareness raising, donor acquisition, donor management, and brand-building</li>
		<li>Develops, manages, and utilizes different media channels, including online media, to promote and communicate the various programs, activities and events of the Office of University Development and Alumni Affairs (OUDAA).</li>
		<li>Oversees the timely and continuous dissemination of resource generation communications</li>
	</ul>
	</li>
	<li>Collaborates with the University Marketing and Communications Office (UMCO) to engage with the press, ensuring accurate and strategic media coverage of the various programs, activities and events of the OUDAA.
	<ul>
		<li>Provides timely and relevant information to the press as needed to enhance visibility and support the University's fundraising and stakeholder engagement and formation efforts</li>
	</ul>

II. Communication Strategy and Performance Analysis

<ul>
	<li>Develops Ateneo’s Case Statement and key resource mobilization messages in collaboration with the Advancement Head and UMCO ensuring that these messages are consistently and accurately conveyed across all communication channels</li>
	<li>Works with the Alumni Formation &amp; Services Officer of the OUDAA in creating communication in support of Alumni engagement &amp; formation programs that is aligned to the overall communication strategy to be developed</li>
	<li>Helps in conducting media monitoring to identify and assess opportunities for the University to engage in resource mobilization activities, such as potential partnerships, funding opportunities, or public awareness campaigns, by keeping track of relevant news, trends, and discussions in various media outlets</li>
	<li>Helps in evaluating the effectiveness of various communication channels and platforms by analyzing performance metrics and audience engagement
	<ul>
		<li>Makes necessary adjustments to communication strategies to enhance impact and achieve better results in resource mobilization and stakeholder engagement</li>
