Billing Administrator

Kalibrr is looking for a highly motivated Finance and Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Prepare and maintain financial records and reports, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.</li>
	<li>Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.</li>
	<li>Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.</li>
	<li>Ensure that tax reporting and monthly / quarterly / annually tax billing payments are in accordance with applicable government regulations.</li>
	<li>Review and process invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.</li>
	<li>Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.</li>
	<li>Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.</li>
	<li>Performs salary calculations for employees.</li>
	<li>Provide support to the finance and accounting team, as needed.</li>
	<li>Prepares government remittances related to employees’ salaries on a monthly basis</li>
	<li>Prepares final pay calculation of resigned employees</li>
	<li>Able to manually compute for employee compensation and benefits, during payroll system outage</li>

Key Responsibilities of a Senior Tax Accountant:

	<li>Prepare and review income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts</li>
	<li>Assist with the flow of information between the account &amp; its clients</li>
	<li>Liaise with ATO on client matters</li>
	<li>Input data using Xero Online accounting software</li>
	<li>Prepare draft Business Activity Statement (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statement (IAS) for further review by the offshore Accountants</li>
	<li>Prepare and analyse Financial Statements, for review by the offshore Accountants</li>
	<li>Prepare ATO applications such as ABN, TFN, GST and PAYG</li>
	<li>Handle business entity set-up and registration</li>
	<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant taxation and other related legislation and rulings</li>
	<li>Assist with bookkeeping tasks</li>
	<li>Communicate with direct manager on workflow matters</li>
	<li>Prepare financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards</li>
	<li>Identify, research and/or resolve all complex accounting issues</li>
	<li>Prepare workpapers and workflow reports for clients</li>
	<li>Analyse management accounting reports and provide advice to clients</li>
	<li>Performing other tasks as required by the client and the management.</li>
