- Edits Math textbooks of one of the leading publishing houses in the Philippines
- Looks into textbook contents and propose improvements
- Applies Mathematical concepts and theories to be published and distributed to schools nationwide
- Collaborates with project teams to plan product improvement.
- Stays connected to teachers and students through classroom observations and field testing of new products in development to stay current on market needs.
- Works directly with authors as materials are being written to ensure that the content reflects our mission and the product goals. May make changes as needed for clarification, and may rewrite or reorganize materials to better meet the needs of teachers and students.
- Edits and prepares product manuscripts and digital resources for multiple product lines, ensuring educational validity, clarity, purposefulness, best practices, and ease of use.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of educational trends, practices, and interests, and advises team leadership accordingly.
- May manage projects in the Project Manager role
- May make presentations on behalf of the company and/or recruit authors and speakers.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- BA or BS degree in education or related field or equivalent experience (Mathematics)
- K-12 classroom teaching experience required (3+ years preferred)
- Master’s degree or advanced studies/training/specialty recommended
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
