Data Analyst Intern  

We are looking for a resourceful professional who is comfortable collaborating with managers and peers across the company. In this role, the candidate will facilitate the use of business analysis by serving as a resource for gathering data and producing reports and insights meant to provide business leaders with ongoing actionable recommendations. You will also help business units establish their own capabilities and expertise to manage and maintain their business data needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Gathers data from data warehouse utilizing Excel & SQL tools
2. Utilizes Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, charts, and reports that are sourced from data from the data warehouse, to be shared with managers and peers across the company.
3. Develops reports and dashboards using the Business Intelligence tool – redash.com.
4. Performs a variety of project related activities, including data mining, analysis or preparation of documentation and presentations.
5. Provides functional support in data related areas of the operation or project.

• Currently Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Math/Finance/Business Development/Product Management.
• Experience in using SQL.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision and be able to effectively multi-task in a very fast paced environment
• Proficient in SQL Server, and database management.
• Expert ability to use advanced features in Excel such as nested functions, pivot tables, and custom charts
• Comfortability in communicating frequently with peers and managers across the company (either in person, via instant messaging, Skype, phone, and email)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
