Clinical Innovations Associate

The Clinical Innovations Associate will work closely with the onshore Clinical Innovations team as well as with the Data Engineering and Customer Teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions in a methodical, timely, and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide options for pharmaceutical/disease therapeutic area and product definition and rationale for different approaches (ICD codes, Corpus Inputs, and Drug Lists)
• Provide clinically oriented thinking to drive to better quality insights in the day-to-day work of our Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Data Science teams
• Running data simulations and working with internal teams to request, analyze and validate data
• Generate mappings of medications to key therapeutic areas based on mechanism of action

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher education in life sciences, pre-med, nursing, MD, or health administration
• Project management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Broad knowledge of core scientific disciplines that are relevant to health-related to medicine and drug development
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with formulas in Excel
• Experience with medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, etc.) and SQL is a plus

Nice to have

• Experience/familiarity with life sciences and healthcare data sources such as FDA.gov, medical claims, etc.
• Understanding of patient care and diseases is a plus
• Understanding of Pubmed and CT.gov
