Data Analytics Associate  

• Deep interest in research and data analysis, capturing actionable insights from data
• Reports to Analytics Lead
• Collaborates with internal and external teams
• Assists Data Analysts in developing, implementing, and deploying products and solutions that help clients convert their data into insights

Duties and Responsibilities
• Help translate business needs and requirements to technical specifications
• Training
o Undergo Data Visualization training (partly supervised and partly self-initiated)
o Complete Data Visualization projects
• Assist in Projects
o Work on some aspects of a Data Analytics pipeline
▪ Review and validate data of customer
▪ Profile data to identify and understand anomalies
• Create dashboards, visualizations, reports
o Prepare data for analysis and visualization/reporting
o Report, Communicate Updates
• As a team member,
o Help cultivate a psychologically safe environment
o Encourage and help other team members on their weak points, as well as be open to asking for other team members’ help on your weak points
o Share knowledge (via brown bag or technical sessions)
• Perform similar duties aligned with the proper execution of roles and responsibilities assigned

A. Minimum Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Math, Economics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, or any other related field
• (AND/OR) An equivalent of the same in working experience
B. Minimum Experience/Training
• Nice-to-have
• Experience in report and dashboard creation, data mining and analysis techniques
• Experience in the following tools: Tableau, Alteryx, Pentaho, and/or PowerBI (Intermediate level)
• Experience in creating SQL queries
• Experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
C. Competency
• Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (esp. Microsoft Excel) and G Suite
