- Confirms project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data, and output requirements with analyst, immediate head, and client.
- Conducts trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and ensures that the instructions are correct.
- Performs direct revision, repair, or expansion of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirement
- Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions
- Corrects errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
- Writes, updates, and maintains computer programs or software packages to handle specific projects
- Consults with internal departments such as sales, design and engineering groups to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
- Completes required training, development and certification objectives within the assigned time frame
- Perform other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

- Distinctive problem-solving and analytical skills combined with effective communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts and solutions to all levels of an organization
- Proficient in latest programming tools
- Experience working in a data-rich environment
- Proficient with implementation experience in any of the following tools are a plus:
- Python, Django, PHP, NodeJS, Typescript, .Net
- HTML, CSS, Javascipt, Bootstrap, Jquery
- Java, Swift, Ionic
- SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop
