Restaurant Manager/Chef Nasugbu, Batangas

Successful entrepreneur living in Nasugbu starting 50-100 seat restaurant near the area on 1000 sqm lot targeting the growing population of mid to upper-level tourists and residents. Existing water, fitout, great location, 50m from the main road.

Looking for young, talented, motivated, hardworking, honest chef/manager who can manage the restaurant and work with the owner who is a good self-taught chef with wide global food experience. Owner has developed an initial menu and recipes, which Manager/Chef can adjust to the local market.

Prior food service education or experience is preferred with good to the excellent level of performance in the prior position.

Moderate pay but the opportunity for success based profit share and may lead to partial ownership. Target opening October 2019.

Interview in Pasig area on weekdays or in Nasugbu on weekends.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting and training local staff
• Developing a menu in conjunction with the owner and adjusting it to meet local supply and local tastes
• Sourcing supply from nearby farms, butchers, fisheries, etc.
• Once up and running, managing restaurant operations and staff to meet productivity, quality and profitability standards

• 3+ years of formal restaurant experience or related experience
• Individual who can display:
  • Exceptional stamina;
  • Obsession for quality;
  • Creativity in food and outside of it;
  • Teamwork and leadership ability; and,
  • Owner's mentality.
