Solutions Architect  

Job Objective

Solutions Architects configure, deploy, and customize company IT Risk Management software products in support of client engagement activities: pre-sales, turnover, and after-sales support.

Requirements

• Technical/Product-specific
  • Prepares workflow diagrams/project workflows to client requests and specifications.
  • Prepares generic and client-specific informational collateral for company IT Risk Management products.
  • Prepares proofs of concept using company IT Risk Management products, based on client requests and specifications.
  • Configures and customizes company IT Risk Management products to client specifications.
  • Deploys or assists with the deployment of company IT Risk Management products for clients.
  • When required, provides after-sales issue resolution for clients.
  • Facilitates online training for cyber security, regulatory compliance, and other information security-related topics as applied for use with company IT Risk Management software.
  • Maintains the Solutions Architects team’s product development and testing environments.
  • Participates in company-internal product enhancement and development activities.
  • Prepares and maintains the documentation of technical processes including installations, upgrades, and other technical processes used.
  • Prepares progress reports.
  • Conducts client demonstrations/presentations locally and overseas.
  • Extends support to other company-internal development teams, as required.
  • Attends meetings, as required.
  • May report on non-regular working hours, as needed.
  • Performs duties as assigned and within areas of expertise.

Key Skills

Technical skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance is a major consideration
• Cloud computing skills/Knowledge of Cloud concepts and practices (AWS & Azure)
• Programming skills (Java or Python) a plus
• Knowledge of OOP and ORM frameworks concepts
• Familiarity of .Net architecture, .Net framework Class Library, .Net Metadata, .Net a plus
• Programming, Common Language Runtime, Common Type System a plus
• Knowledge of Web Service Design and Development
• Familiarity of creation and implementation of design patterns a plus
• Familiarity of data sources and data access frameworks a plus
• Knowledge of workflow development and design
• Knowledge of basic internet services (POP, FTP, HTTP)
• Familiarity of Messaging (MQ, GE, JMS) concepts a plus
• Knowledge of tools and IDEs for front end and back end development
• Knowledge of unit testing (frameworks) is a plus
• Knowledge of distributed and secured apps is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
• With two (2) to three (3) years’ experience and with a strong-IT background
• Preferably with a background in Information Security and/or Regulatory compliance
