Store Manager  

General Description of Responsibilities:

• In charge of the store's day-to-day activities
• Optimize store sales and profitability
• Coordinate employee management, cash register operations and inventory
• Aim to provide customers with a positive shopping experience.

Core Functions:

• Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
• Organizing schedules and holidays
• Overseeing stock control and receiving orders
• Delegating tasks
• Completing necessary paperwork
• Handling complaints (from both staff and customers)
• Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store

Operations:

• Employees; following up on work results.

Product/ Sales:

• Reaching sales targets and increasing profits
• Dealing with customer service issues such as queries and complaints
• Ensures availability of merchandise and services
• Take part in customer promotions and events -- keeping up-to-date with all
• Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training
• Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining
• Dealing with staffing issues such as interviewing potential staff, conducting the latest products and promotions so you can explain it to customers whomay be interested

People Management:

• Managing and motivating team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
• Monitoring the team’s performance

Reporting:

• Providing sales reports
• Preparing reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matter
