We are looking for a Staffwriter for our digital team.

Responsibilities:

• Compose and edit articles, particularly regarding finance and money, for the website.
• Conduct interviews and write articles.
• Participate and contribute ideas during brainstorming activities.
• Decide on themes or subjects for written work, conduct research into the subject, conceptualize/assemble background material and obtain other necessary data.
• Assist with photo shoots.
• Conduct extensive research to obtain and verify facts and analyze sources for accuracy of information.
• Prepare and refer articles to the Managing Editor for their thorough review and approval.
• Modify or edit work, making sure that the style is consistent with the website's tone, and that the theme and main ideas of the article are adhered to with appropriate citations when necessary.
• Coordinate with other specialists such as editors, software developers, graphic designers and illustrators, to create multimedia work.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Advertising/Media, Journalism, Humanities/Liberal Arts, Mass Communications or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably 2-4 years experienced employees specializing in Journalist/Editor or equivalent.
• Passionate about lifestyle, culture, and politics.
• Financial literacy or has a good knowledge regarding financial aspects.
• Willing to work in Mandaluyong City.
• Full-Time position available.
