Legal Officer  

Objectives:

• To provide legal support in matters pertaining to project audit, special projects, trade, investment and corporate affairs.
• To provide day-to-day support on legal matters for the Company’s business and contractual relations, and ensures compliance to the requirements of law for the conduct of its business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Draft and finalize legal documents;
2. Prepare correspondences assigned to him/her;
3. Research/prepare legal opinions/memoranda;
4. Provide advice to other departments on legal issues;
5. Provide the legal requirements of internal business units;
6. Coordinate with other employees for the submission of supporting documents for legal opinions/position papers/correspondences;
7. Coordinate with external legal counsels;
8. Legal support and representation;
9. Ensure compliance and housekeeping and management of the reportorial requirements of government agencies; and,
10. Maintain and update files/documents in his/her custody.

• Graduate of Juris Doctor of Bachelor of Laws
• Member of the Philippine Bar
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Lawyer is required
• Good Research Skills
• Analytical Skills / Business Acumen
• Great Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Computer Literate (MS Word /Excel / PowerPoint)
