General Manager Operation Food and Beverage  

SMDV is a tech-focused Venture Capital that partners with entrepreneurs building exceptional technology companies that aim to change the landscape in Indonesia and the region.

We are looking for a General Manager Operation. You will be responsible to lead the Retail Operation Team. Other responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the Management team to create, set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation. Especially for new stores expansion
• Work closely with HR and Training to recruit, select, train, assign all store staff operations and develop accordingly to be more effective and efficient
• Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving the product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping
• Supervise and planning product ranges and preparing vendor acquisition plans in conjunction with commercial teams;
• Supervising team for liaising with buyers, analysts, suppliers, and distributors;
• Working closely with vendors and other departments to decide how goods should be displayed.
• Forecasting profits and sales, and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas;
• Supervise team for maintaining relations with distributors/vendors/suppliers and managing them by negotiating cost prices, agreeing on timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork;
• Supervise & Identifying production and supply difficulties and dealing with any problems or delays as they arise.
• Planning product ranges and preparing vendor acquisition plans in conjunction with commercial teams;
• Analyzing every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors, or styles) and ensuring that they reach their full potential;
• Maintain relations with distributors/vendors/suppliers and managing them by negotiating cost prices, agreeing on timescales and delivery dates, and completing the necessary paperwork;

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, any field
• At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position in Food and Beverages retail chain
• Experiences in Retail is a must
• Open-minded and able to work in a team
• The ability to communicate in English is a must
• Self-motivated and honest
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
