Operations Specialist | ISO 27001  

The ISO27001 Specialist is responsible for commissioning and rollout of all facets of the ISO27001 certification for Janison. This role will include project management, business alignment, documentation control and creation for the entire project. A large amount of documentation exists for similar certifications (ISM2016), however a lot of documentation will need to be created. Liaising with all facets of the Janison business and appropriate staff contact points you will be the champion for the ISO project delivery.

This individual is accountable for the following systems:

• Documentation and control of ISO27001
• Project management of ISO27001
• Delivery of ISO27001

The Operations Specialist will be required to work on client systems that are protected by state and/or federal security mechanisms. The individual must hold, or be willing/able to obtain, relevant security clearances as required.

It is possible junior document writers may also report to this position if required to help with workloads going forward.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining installation and configuration procedures for all facets of ISO27001
• Contributing to and maintaining standards for ISO27001
• Researching and recommending best practices for Janison to deploy to complete ISO27001
• Creation and maintenance of documentation
• Liasing with Janison staff within Australia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, New Zealand and other countries to ensure compliance standards are met with ISO27001
  

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:

• Fluent English – written and spoken
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role focused on delivery of ISO27001 certification, preferably in an IT focused company.
• Degree or higher in IT
• Project management qualifications would be desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
• Proven initiative and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to create a professional design and implementation documents
• Proven ability to understand and create technical documentation for an IT focused company.
• Advanced troubleshooting techniques
• Be able to obtain a security clearance
