Estimating Engineer - Revit (Graveyard shift)  

Job Description
• Archive historical cost data on completed projects and provide support to the entire estimating staff on preconstruction, construction and bid efforts.

Required Skills
• Must speak, read and write fluent English
• Revit quantity take-off (or Autodesk Quantity Take Off)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and other construction documents
• Ability to perform quantity survey and identify different construction materials

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction related field

• 3 years minimum combined work experience in building construction and estimating
• Proficient with the following software programs:
1) MS Office (Word, Outlook)
2) Skype
3) On Screen Take-Off (OST)
4) BluBeam
5) Box
• Familiar and/or experience with the following software programs a plus:
1) BIM (Building Integration Method)
2) Primavera, Sure Trak or other scheduling programs
3) CMiC or other construction management programs
Familiar with the Construction Specification Institute (CSI) Master Format
Familiar with the Uniform Building Code (UBC), International Building Code (IBC) and International Code Council (ICC)
Familiar with different types of building construction (i.e.Type I; II; III; IV; V)
Familiar with the different types of estimating format (by Trade; by Division and Systems or Assembly)
Ability to identify construction trades involved and/or required on a project
