Data Researcher  

Position Title: Data Researcher - Estimates

The Role: As a Data Researcher - Estimates, you will be responsible in data collection regarding earnings estimates from various reliable sources for the clients of S&P Global Market Intelligence. You will be working closely with counterparts across the globe to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data to be delivered to our clients. You will also be exposed to many ad-hoc activities that will focus on improvin departmental processes and data quality.

The Impact: The current opening is with one of the company’s content division that publishes Estimates consensus data for the covered companies. The role will require working closely with our Hyderabad and Ahmedabad offices in India to ensure that the data is consistently captured in an accurate and timely manner. Extensive training shall be provided to equip you with a better understanding of the business and its role in S&P Global.

The Career Opportunity: Working as part of a country team the Data Researcher will be responsible for researching, analyzing and processing financial research reports from Sell Side research firms and company released earnings announcements.

The Team / The Business: Reporting to Earning Estimates Manager based in Manila office.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English.
• Applicant must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Knowledge of basic finance, proficiency in excel and conducting efficient online search is preferred.
• Preferred knowledge about Press Releases, Annual and Quarterly Reports and ability to analyze these documents and extract required financial data would be an advantage.
• Strong quantitative, analytical and interpretive skills.
• Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work
• Positive outlook and highly motivated team players with great verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, while following flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude, ability to interact with different levels and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner.
• This is a Full-Time position and applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas East, Pasig City (Tiendesitas)
• Must be willing to work on an early midshift (1pm-10pm)
