Productivity Engineer  

Productivity Engineering in Ruangguru has a goal to make our engineers live easier, empowering them to deliver their code quickly and confidently. The entire engineers (from back-end, front-end to apps engineer) on Ruangguru are their clients. They are committed to making our engineer more effective by developing tools, library, procedure, and even platform to break what become the bottleneck. They are driving tech initiatives, pushing the boundaries of technologies for the sake of more productive engineers

• Research and develop methods, tools, and workflow to continuously improve engineering experience at ruangguru.
• Identify and evaluate improvement in methods, tools, and workflow that increase engineering productivity in general.
• Build relationships with developers across all of our teams to understand their needs and satisfy them with developed projects.
• Automate time-consuming and manual processes to make life better for other engineers by writing high-quality software and implementing the best technology available.

• Preferable to have experience in multiple platforms such as Back-end/Front-end/iOS/Android.
• Language Agnostic person is highly preferable, or at least you have experience in more than 2 programming languages.
• Experienced in system design and software architecture design.
• Good empty & user-oriented person. Willing to learn about other engineers (teams) use-cases & technologies, how they work and distilling their requirements into high-leverage building blocks.
• Strong critical thinking, can identify gaps and drive cross-functional efforts to build tools that empower fellow engineers
• Quick learner. Proactively and continuously learn about new and relevant technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
