Pricing Analyst  

The Pricing Analyst is mainly responsible for the analysis and reporting of Market Pricing Intelligence that provides an understanding of marketplace price levels and pharmacy network structures for the Company. Other responsibilities include but arae not limited to the following:

• Provides analytical decision support for key strategy projects and operations.
  • Including conceiving and executing analysis based on the facts generated from Market Pricing Intelligence or other sources.
• Accountable for having internal expertise across business units.
  • Developing focused competitive knowledge management.
• Shares insights by creating clear, synthesized written reports such as:
  • Powerpoint presentations.
  • Word documents.
• Builds and maintains a fact base on market pricing, including price levels and network structures for the Company.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather and interpret market pricing intelligence on an ongoing basis.
• Leverages external resources (market reports, etc.) to gather competitive pricing and financial intelligence.
• Synthesizes competitive pricing intelligence into distributed briefs outlining WAC pricing level relative to competitors, network trends, and profitability estimates.
• Monitors and analyzes marketplace pricing and product developments (e.g., new network types) and identify trends, relevant changes,evolution, etc.
• Determines the impact to the Company and the industry of identified changes and inform pricing and contracting leadership of relevant conclusions.
• Provides adhoc analysis to support key projects and operations, including the development and execution of pricing strategies.

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following:
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Mathematics
  • Economics or another quantitative field
• At least 1 year of combined experience as an Analyst working in a Contracting, Finance, Audit, Pricing, or Corporate Strategy function.
• Experience in the following:
  • Finding and gathering data from external (e.g., annual company reports, industry reports, internet searches) and internal sources.
  • Analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, and insights on business performance.
  • Performing data analysis and data management activities.
    • Knowledge of basic statistical concepts.
  • Providing written reports on data analysis, highlighting facts, and key insights.
  • Diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues.
  • Working with pharmacy data as a Pharmaceutical Benefit Manager at a retail pharmacy, benefit consultancy, or managed care company.
    • Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical industry pricing.
  • Utilizing data from a set of multiple sources that may be conflicting and/or incomplete.
    • For example, estimating the market price of a competitor by triangulating a 10k annual report, cost structure estimates from operations experts, and win/loss data from a sales team.
• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word.
  • Inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Applying a theme.
  • Formatting character spacing.
  • Inserting a picture.
  • Changing slide layout and theme colors.
  • Adding transitions.
  • Customizing slide numbers.
  • Creating charts and/or formatting font).
• Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel.
  • Using Average function.
  • Merging and centering cells.
  • Printing centered page.
  • Creating a pivot table
• Willing to work on night shift.
  • 9:00PM to 6:00AM (Mondays to Fridays)
• Good English communication skills.
