Business Analyst  

Project Management

• Assist the Head of Applications Management in the timely and cost effective delivery of systems and upgrades through efficient planning of tasks and resources
• Ensure that the delivered system features meet the agreed business requirements
• Coordinate with different teams from Business and Technology to meet project goals

Analysis

• Coordinate with Business Users and Applications Development/ Software Vendors to finalize business requirements specifications (BRS)
• Co-author the BRS with the Business/Product subject matter expert
• Prepare Functional Specifications with Applications Development Impact analysis for customizations to existing systems

Deployment

• Facilitate the conduct of end-to-end and market-wide testing
• Monitor and participate in the planning of system rollouts/migration
• Prepare User Documentation (user manuals, quick reference guides, FAQs)

Product Development

• Evaluate the system requirements of new products, while optimizing current system functionalities to meet these requirements
• Contribute and add value to the product design process based on system knowledge and background

• Bachelor degree in a reputable university or college (computer, engineering or business)
• Considerable experience in a financial services industry with finance, business and accounting background.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mind, attention to details and adept in gathering business requirements, translating those to functional specifications design.
• At least 3 years of working experience as a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst, experience in Financial Services is a big plus.
• Experience in analyzing Web-based applications, multi-tier designed applications
• Experience in using Requirements Management tool such as Lombardi, BPMN, Rational Rose and the like.
• Well versed in the software development life cycle (SDLC)
