Account Manager  

Upteam is a vintage bag and accessory curator currently supplying both online and offline shops in Europe, Middle East and Asia with authentic pre-owned items from high-end brands. You may visit www.upteamco.com for more details.

This position will be based in Manila and report directly to the Sales Director. The successful candidate will oversee sales and business development for Vestiaire Collective (VCF) – one of the company’s top marketplace customers. There will be a strong communication flow expected with the Business Development, Customer Service, Product and Logistics teams.

RESEARCH:

• Assess Upteam’s current performance with VCF including:
  • Visibility: Where do our products rank in terms of visibility?
  • Product: are we publishing the right products?
  • Price: Are we competitive?
  • Promotional calendar: Are we promoting the right products at the right price?
  • Competitor check: Who are our main competitors and what can we learn from them?
  • Communication: Are we using the right tone and content in our interactions with shoppers?
  • Customer & Market: Understanding the specificities of the customer and the French 2nd hand fashion market

SALES & ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

• Create a visibility roadmap to ensure our products are more/better highlighted
• Hit monthly revenue and profit targets
• Optimize assortment and price to grow sales
• Create promotional calendars
• Liaise with Upteam’s customer experience department to ensure smooth pre-and after-sales service
• Regularly liaise with the customer in order to build relationship
• Create A/B test briefs and implement changes resulting for the optimization tests conducted

• Experience as account management with e-commerce company (ideally fashion)
• Minimum of 3-year experience in account management role
• Analytical skills (proficiency in Excel is a must)
• Fluency in French is a plus
• Availability to travel
