Specific Job Description

• Comfortable with the Big Data stack:
  • Advanced in Scala including writing external DSL
  • Apache Spark and Kafka
  • Use cases for distributed databases and K/V stores (e.g. for Cassandra, Redis, ElasticSearch HBase, CouchDB, Neo4J, Galera)
  • Big data file formats (e.g. Parquet, Avro)
  • CQL

Experienced in application programming;

• At least one of the following programming languages:
• JavaScript (NodeJS, Angular, TypeScript)
• Scala
• Java
• Dependency management (e.g. maven, gradle, npm)
• Protocols (e.g. REST, OAuth 2.0, HTML5 Jade, CSS3 Less and Sass)

Additional Requirements

• Domain knowledge will be an advantage
• Understanding of mobile broadband networks and related services (3G, 4G, network planning & optimization, care & troubleshooting)
• Basic understanding of Network Management Systems (NMS) and/or Element Management Systems (e.g. Nokia NetAct, Ericsson NetOp)
• Basic understanding of mobile networks architecture and protocols (e.g. handovers)
• Basic understanding of FCAPS model

Basic experience in;

• Linux
• Docker and Mesosphere stack
• Continuous Integration (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Crucible/Fisheye)
• Installation automation framework (Ansible preferred)
• Bash and Python
• Cloud know-how of AWS REST APIs
• Design patterns
• Work in Scrum
