- The Purchaser is responsible for the overall procurement of materials, supplies, equipment or services and assigned to follow through with suppliers on delivery.
- Interacts with suppliers to maintain pricing and delivery schedules.
- Consistently maintaining a pool of suppliers for each item, comparing which supplier has the most competitive price from time to time
- Processes requisition forms submitted by the Kitchen, bar or dining.
- Ensures that items delivered are within specifications set
- Limits purchases made from petty cash by making sure that stocks are properly forecasted
- Checks invoices versus the purchase requests and prepares PO
- Submits accurate documents for processing to Head Office
- Negotiates with suppliers for bulk discounts
- Prepares transmittal summary for the restaurant
- In-charge to negotiate with suppliers for terms applications
- Maintains the proper par level by spot checking inventories of the kitchen
- Keeps a list of Suppliers or a directory for reference
- Prepares Month End Reports and other related reports.
- Submits reports on time and make sure accounts are not hold by suppliers.
- Monitors expenses based on budget set for the branch.

- Extensive knowledge of products.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Analytical and mathematical capabilities to compare prices and quantities and consider vendor contract terms.
- Ability to evaluate market conditions and various suppliers.
- Keen eye for detail.
- At least 2 years experience as a Purchaser
