Web Designer  

Mosed Corporation is looking for a Web Designer with above-average technical and creative skills to build, develop and design the interface, navigation and aesthetic of one of its client's websites, Sporting News*. He/she will work closely with the web development and design team and will be primarily focused on understanding the business and visual objectives of the client to create effective design solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Design engaging and responsive landing pages
• Employ industry and design best practice through website build process
• Conduct website testing
• Liaise with back-end and front-end developers to ensure web and UI/UX logic is properly integrated
• Ensure website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
• Work with marketing and research teams to incorporate brand elements and relevant market research findings into website
• Provide internal support and external customer service throughout the build and launch process of the website

Minimum Job Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Design, Digital Media or Graphic Design

• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience using Adobe Suite, Content Management System (CMS) like WordPress / Drupal / dotCMS

• Excellent visual design skills and proficiency in

  • Adobe Suite – XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or Figma

  • HTML, CSS

  • Experience/familiarity with Zeplin

  • Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence or other Product Management Tools

• Experience in UI / UX

• Demonstrable design skills with a strong portfolio**

• Familiarity with Macintosh platform

• Good understanding of content management systems, search engine optimization principles, cross-browser compatibility issues

• Up to date with international web trends, protocols, standards and technologies

• High proficiency in English verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills

• Able to coordinate and work with remote teams

• Flexible to work under changing and different settings
