Senior Technical Engineer  

This role will assist on general end-user technical issue that includes:

• Take support calls from company staff as well as client staff regarding various computer issues.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and performing test activities on various computer equipment and computer network systems.
• Setup software on client's computers; install software, patches, and drivers; prepare and deploy software packages.
• Documenting troubleshooting efforts, identifying issues, gathering information and employing fixes.
• Analyzing and diagnosing hardware, software, and operator problems.
• Troubleshooting of basic network connectivity issues of end point devices like desktop computers, laptops, phones, and printers.
• Providing exceptional customer service; maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
• Performing all duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Diploma or degree in an Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering related program; or cumulative (and progressive) relevant information Technology industry experience
• Familiarity with troubleshooting off of error logs, running stack traces and other diagnostics.
• Functional knowledge with Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008 and 2012. Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) as strong plus.
• Experience with of Powershell and Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Manage new user account provisioning and termination according to corporate IT standards and procedures
• Functional knowledge of Android operating system
• Familiar with SSL VPN’s, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting
• Knowledgable with VOIP Systems
• Support, maintain and troubleshoot network printers and print server queues
• Familiar with IT Service Desk/ Help Desk ticketing systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects/customers at any given time
