The Chart Retrieval Specialist contacts medical facilities to obtain commitments to send medical records to Altegra Health via fax or mail for this purpose. This position operates in an outbound call center environment and is driven by project deadlines for completion of all calls and receipt of medical records.
The successful candidate should preferably have experience in a fast-paced, results driven outbound call center environment with emphasis on both customer service skills and sales conversion.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates reliability and maintains excellent attendance from training to production with zero to minimal attendance infractions
- Completes Chart Retrieval training and nesting curriculum and displays skills and competencies required to fulfill the job
- Exhausts all efforts in contacting by phone all assigned medical offices/facilities requesting that specific medical records are sent to Change Healthcare within a specified period of time
- Maximizes all scheduling opportunities on each call
- Identifies and/or validates all relevant information which includes the medical provider’s demographics, medical records contact, and the presence of the requested chart(s)
- Follows up on medical records not received within the specified time period by phone and fax
- Conducts themselves in a professional and respectful manner over the phone. Projects a good image of Change Healthcare to all client contacts
- Completes calling assignments daily
- Conducts research to find a resolution when medical records are not available or demographic data is not correct
- Completes all documentation on all call information according to standard operating procedures in a timely manner
- Utilizes the standard pends and escalation processes and procedures as needed
- Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and applying it to relevant job duties
- Performs multi-tasking in order to complete the required tasks on a timely manner
- Adheres to assigned work schedules including those for breaks, training, and other non-productive activities in order to maximize productivity
- Complies to all company policies and management instructions
- Assists supervisor with special projects

- At least 6 mos of work experience in call center setting, preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Proficient phone and computer skills, including MS Windows, MS Office, email and internet. Ability to learn additional applications as necessary
- Average English Communication skills, both oral and written
- Must be willing to work at for a Project-Based Account in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig in a Nightshift schedule.
