Metallurgical Engineer  

Duties & Responsibilities:

To develop a corporate culture of quality by the use of variety of measures akin to Quality Management Systems (QMS), such as the applications of Total Quality Management (TQM), and other International Quality Standards like ISO 9001-2015 and also other applicable methods and procedures to ensure full compliance with the regulatory requirements of the government as well as the never-ending needs and future demands of the market forces of competitions;

• Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards, and specifications;
• Work with customer requirements, review from time to time the company standards for consistent improvements and ensures that quality requirements and specifications of our clients are met from time to time;
• To work together with the Production Supervisors and staff to establish compliance with our minimum quality requirements and shall be communicated carefully to our external suppliers for their compliance from time to time of improvements;
• To set clusters of policy standards for the quality management system of the company as well as for Health, Safety, and Environment;
• To make sure that manufacturing or production processes meet national product standards;
• Consistently search for ways to reduce waste and increase the efficiency of the manufacturing plant;
• To establish procedures and methods aiming for consistently achieving a quality system in conjunction with the existing capability of the production staff;
• To set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures;
• To monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports;
• To develop a feedback mechanism through open suggestions, review for changes and improvements and how to implement them;
• To develop relevant quality tools and make sure managers, supervisors and other staff understand how to improve the business;
• To ensure the business reliability of the company and keep it steadfast in the market forces.

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering;
• Strictly Licensed Metallurgist by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC);
• Preferably with solid knowledge in Quality Management Systems (QMS); backed by training and applied experience in the metal production or heavy industry;
• Candidates in the upper middle ages are desirable to apply;
• Preferably with solid experience in Quality Control and Assurance in the metal industry or from heavy manufacturing industries;
• Previous experiences in the applications of Physical, Mathematical and Applied Sciences;
• Minimum experience is 2 years in a supervisory capacity;
• Due to the nature of the Job, male candidates are preferred;
• With high tolerance to the elements of heavy types of machinery in the manufacturing plant;
• Willing to work in San Simon, Pampanga.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday.
