- Prepares department in aligning with the organization business plans by planning and organizing department goals, leading the team in the achievement thereupon and controlling issues that may arise to make sure that department contributes fairly to the success of bottom line goals.
- Prepares pre-qualification requirements by assembling necessary documents to affirm an intent to participate in the bidding.
- Reviews documents received from immediate superior by studying the scope, price, timeline, and other specifications to facilitate planning of the course of actions.
- Backs up studies by attending Pre-Bid Conference and conducting the site inspection to reinforce planning efforts.
- Coordinates task to team members by huddling, orienting, setting of expectations and tasks, etc., to facilitate delegation.
- Establishes synergy by creating an environment where line reports and seconded team members willingly share information, knowledge, and ideas to facilitate coordination.
- Sets up measures of success by defining key performance indicators and suitable methodology to track these to measure and report upon the KPIs set out in the business plan to the satisfaction of the management.
- Monitors progress of quotations, materials and cost estimations by meeting with team members and gathers reports; and ensuring that a database is kept up to date to make sure that the team is on track, on time and within budget.
- Participates in Tender Clarification Meeting by ensuring completeness of technical requirements; makes adjustments when necessary to facilitate finalization of tender.
- Assists in contract negotiation by reviewing bid and consulting higher management to ensure that the negotiation will lead to a profitable yield for the company.
- Oversees turn-over of plans and documents to Site team by checking the completeness of such as prepared by team members to facilitate the transition.
- Assists various teams with contractual concerns by producing needed documentations, answers queries, etc., to facilitate interpretation thereof.
- Monitors workload of employees by referring to database to determine if they can accommodate new projects, need for manpower or otherwise.
- Updates immediate superior and other stakeholders by preparing various reports such as submitted, ongoing and completed bids to facilitate information process.
- Performs other functions which may be required by the immediate superior from time to time.
Trình độ tối thiểu
- With a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of construction
- With at least seven years of related work experience
