Senior Front-End Software Engineer  

What would you be doing

• 1st month? Meet the team and get familiar with projects, visions, and strategies.
• 2nd month? Ramp-up activities like code reviews, testing, reducing technical debt.
• 3rd month? All of the above, plus start getting knee deep with key projects, such as:
  • An automated video analyzer well beyond providing insights (AI anyone?)
  • An automated channel growth predictor (big data challenges at their best)
  • Freedom! Wallet (global payment portal and factoring service)
  • Your ideas?

Duties and Responsibilities

• Defining user flows and wireframes with a keen eye for detail
• Develop interactive web applications, collaborate and brainstorm with creative and development team
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimization of applications for maximum speed and availability
• Participating in code reviews and making revisions based on discussion thereon

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience operations research, statistics, engineering, or mathematics
• 5+ years’ experience focusing on front-end development and implementation using
  • Frameworks such as AngularJS, Vue.js
  • Technologies such as Javascript (ES6), TypeScript, CSS/SASS, HTML5
  • Build tools, such as NPM, Yarn, Gulp, Grunt, Broccoli, etc.
• Experience with responsive design/development.
• Excellent communication skills, must be able to communicate with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid experience with TDD, BDD, ATDD and have experience with performance and security QA
• Experience of working within an Agile development process (Scrum, SAFe or similar)
• Previous experience with a variety of the following: PHP & Laravel, Python & Flask, Node.js, Linux/Ubuntu, AWS, Vue.js, Angular, React, TypeScript, MySql, MongoDB, DevOps, Agile, Scrum
