Digital Marketing Manager  

For a startup e-commerce/social commerce marketing company.

Job Summary

• The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing strategy of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and manages digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels utilizing tools and techniques as appropriate, including but not limited to email marketing, paid search, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
• Manages Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), agencies, brands, and other related stakeholders to build a network and platform of influencers advising buyers and promoting brands and sellers.
• Implements platform Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to foster buyer-seller communication and proposes relevant notifications to drive repurchase and engagement to the platform (seller promotion, platform update, social event, order status, etc.).
• Works with the Product Development team to build necessary technology to support social commerce initiatives.
• Leads the development of the company website, devising strategies to drive online traffic and to garner new online sales leads for future conversion.
• Builds an inbound marketing plan and leads the development of the company’s social media presence.
• Uses appropriate data analytics to measure and evaluate actual performance against goals and objectives of various digital marketing plans and activities.
• Reviews new technologies and keeps the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
• Recommends activities that create high quality content for a range of online platforms which is optimized and consistent with the brand and its targeted audience.
• Researches market conditions to determine potential markets for products or services by gathering information about competitors, customer preferences, and buying habits, analyzing and comparing competitive factors, i.e. performance, pricing, sales and methods of marketing and distribution, preparing reports that interpret market conditions and potentials, and investigating methods, costs of distribution, and advertising.
• Works with external agencies when required to develop the business’ online presence.
• Leads, supervises, and motivates members of the digital marketing team.
• Performs ad hoc analysis and special projects that may be assigned by management.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, or equivalent, preferably with a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing
• Knowledge: At least 3-7 years of solid hands-on experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, social commerce, or related fields
• Technical Competencies: Content management, data analysis and cleansing, writing and editing, SEO and SEM, email marketing, CRM, social media, community management, paid social media advertising, basic design skills (e.g. Adobe Photoshop), and mobile marketing
• Soft Skills: Intuition, curiosity, social listening, persuasion, comfort with technology, multitasking, and creativity
• Attitude: Ability to learn and adapt in a startup environment, hungry to learn, strong desire to know, drive to be a team player, has a positive and upbeat attitude
• Willing to work in Haig, Mandaluyong City and/or General Trias, Cavite
