Senior Fit-out Designer  

M2.0 Communications, Inc.'s sister company, Outboxed Solutions Inc. (OSI) is a Valenzuela-based design and fabrication shop that makes wood and steel home and office products. We've built a fit out practice over the last four years and are on the lookout for architects and industrial designers to help us design products and manage our fit out projects. The Senior Fit-out Designer will play a vital role in planning and organizing fit out projects in Metro Manila and all around the Philippines. The role also takes the lead in managing the implementation of construction projects from initial sketch through punch-listing and post-project evaluation.

The fit-out designer’s responsibilities include

• Designing and planning spaces for construction
• Overseeing fitout projects from beginning to end
• Managing budgets and estimating construction costs
• Designing and specifying interior space components including cabinetry and furniture
• Determining necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed for each project
• Preparing reports regarding job status
• Resolving any problems that may arise during construction
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Ensuring all deadlines are met
• Hiring contractors and staff including construction laborers
• Delegating responsibilities to the right project personnel

• At least 5 years of work experience in B2B, retail, office furniture, cabinetry, or interior design for businesses
• At least 3 years of experience in furniture design, with emphasis on anthropomorphic detail articulation
• A degree in architecture with the proper licenses
• Proficiency in 3D rendering and modeling software such as 3DS Max, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up
• Preferably a background in offline and digital marketing, communications, or multimedia
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and project management software
• Willing to travel to and from the factory in Valenzuela to the office and Quezon City, as well as visit work sites frequently
