IT Supervisor | Software Development  

The R&D Supervisor is responsible in collaborating with other leads and managers in the completion of projects. Responsible in supervising the development team and delegating of task to individual members. Leads and mentor developers to successfully produce new and improved products that meets the client and end-user needs. Conduct advance research and development plans for further enhancement of the products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Task Management

• Assist the R&D Manager in the implementation of the departmental policies and procedures.
• Helps build and develop systems, modules and functions; adheres to programming and documentation procedures.
• Monitors the project status to be able to strictly follow schedules and delivery timeline.
• Consults with all concern parties to clarify program intent, identify possible issues and suggest changes when necessary.
• Recommends and initiate possible solutions to any problem areas requiring immediate action.
• Conducts thorough problem analysis with regards to technical system and program application.
• Updates and amends existing databases for efficiency, security and integrity of data.
• Reviews final programs prior to implementation to verify consistency and conformance to established policies and practices as well as industry guidelines; perform acceptance testing and program implementation for assigned systems and /or project.
• Innovates new processes and programs align with current departmental needs.
• Conducts training and orientation to end-user on the developed system when necessary.

People Management

• Leading people through effective objective setting, delegation and communication. Conducts and facilitate meeting to ensure that subordinates are well informed of changes in programs, policies and procedures.
• Deliberately execute control measures on daily operations by effective task delegation and monitoring of output of team member until its full completion and provide necessary coaching and mentoring on a regular basis.
• Review final output of team member and regularly provides feedback to produce best results.
• Ensures that team member meets the client requirements based on Service Level Agreement.
• Search and propose programs for the learning and development of individual team member.
• Collaborates with the manager with the performance appraisal review and evaluation of subordinates. Provides measurable and objective feedback to people, identify areas for improvement and recommends solution.
• Coordinates with HRD whatever changes made on the task to re-align the Job Description.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• With at least 3-year proven experience Leading a development team.
• Extensive experience in developing, deploying and integrating Accounting or Business software solutions.
• Proficient in either PHP, C++ or Android Development.
• Has actual experience in OOP (Object-Oriented Programming).
• Has expertise in full stack web development.
• Can communicate complex procedures to end user.
• Keen to details and highly organized.
• Possess excellent problem-solving, analytical and organization skills.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passionate in researching new technologies and innovation.
