POSITION PURPOSE / JOB SUMMARY

The Channel Manager wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners, while achieving an assigned sales and profit growth goal. He/she is responsible for achieving annual company objectives, maintaining a long-term relationship with channels, and maximizing sales opportunities by providing strategic approach in collaborative winning. He/she represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned partners and ensures revenue growth and profitability.

TECHNICAL DUTIES

  • Sales and Account Management
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
  • Client Consultation
    • Scoping of different companies in various industries – understanding their operations and business needs.
  • Client Information and Awareness
    • Responsible for understanding the clients’ organization and structure.
  • Executive Reporting
    • Logging of activities and reports in CRM
  • Organizational alignment
    • Collaborates with the technical team for the needed scope of work, assumption dependencies, and constraints or any other technical specifications needed to translate specific requirements into a quantitative value

Trình độ tối thiểu

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of any 4-year course or college degree, preferably BSIT, BS Computer Science, BS Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Economics, or equivalent

EXPERIENCE

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated success in building relationships with clients.
  • Extensive experience in dealing with clients and has excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Has a good knowledge and understanding of organizational structures and roles.
  • Experience of working in a customer-facing role will be advantageous, as well as experience of handling finances and working to deadline.
  • Channel Account Manager must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the job and an enthusiasm for working within a sales and marketing department.
  • Must have background in handling Enterprise Accounts.
  • Minimum 4 years of channel sales experience in a business to-business sales environment.

SKILLS

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Good budgeting skills and the ability to handle finances
  • Experienced in the use of CRM tools and other productivity tools is a plus
