Senior Embedded Applications Development Engineer  

JOB SUMMARY

The Incumbent of this Job needs to design, develop, securize, optimize and maintain applications for the smartcard and prepares the documentation to arrive at company standard. He / she needs to familiarize with the tools, applications and processes used during the Application Development Process and propose improvements. This position is to be based in Jakarta and direct reports to Embedded Application Development Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducts feasibility study and analyze functional and non-functional requirement specification.
• Creates planning and provide workload estimation for the application development.
• Creates Software Requirement Specification and Design documents.
• Participates in review of specifications, source codes and documents.
• Develops high security and high reliability embedded smartcard applications for different markets.
• Performs white-box testing and unit testing to ensure high quality level of the applications.
• Analyzes and fix application issues reported by internal or external teams.
• Performs root-cause analysis of issues found to avoid such issues arise again in the future.
• Supports internal and external team when they are verifying, validating, and deploying the application.
• Contributes to Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration and Innovation.
• Assists Manager in terms of supervising, coaching, mentoring and training team members.

• Minimum 5 years of experiences in software development with minimum 3 years of experiences in embedded application software development using Java, C and / or assembly languages.
• Bachelor / Master Degree in IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from reputable university with minimum GPA 3.00
• Experience with white-box testing, unit testing and functional test
• Fully understand about the binary and hexadecimal operation and computation.
• Analytical thinker and problem solver
• Good leadership skill with ability to lead, coach and motivate others using “lead by example” style.
• Experience in and have knowledge of cryptographic algorithms, software security concepts, security protocols and performance optimization would be strong plus
• Excellence communication in English both oral and written.
