Warehouse Manager  

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of Warehouse products/goods; ensures stocks are stored properly and safely.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Strategically manages warehouse in compliance with company policies.

2. Supervises, coaches and trains warehouse personnel.

3. Oversees the receipt and dispersal of products entering or leaving the warehouse.

4. Briefs staff on materials to be loaded and items to be delivered.

5. Maintains metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.

6. Responds to and deals with customer communication by e-mail, fax and telephone.

7. Maintains good working relationship with peers.

8. Keeps tract of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery time, etc.

9. Initiates, coordinates and enforces optimal operational policies and procedures.

10. Motivates and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure targets are met.

11. Monitors staff performance and progress.

12. Maintains health and safety in the warehouse and ensures compliance with safety legislations.

13. Ensures quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.

14. Prepares reports and statistics regularly.

• Graduate of any Engineering Course.
• 3-5 years experience as Warehouse Manager.
• Strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Analytical, results oriented, trustworthy, flexible.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
