Product Researcher JD  

• Execute product research to provide inputs throughout the product development process
• Employ best practices for product research in collaboration with COE at Go-Jek
• Conduct product evaluation research, employing both qualitative and quantitative methods
• Manage product research projects E2E: Briefing, Development, Execution, Sharing
• Conduct deep-dive ethnographic and other qualitative work to understand tensions related to a particular product category or issue
• Work closely with Market research peer to ensure Product & Market insights are fused throughout the business and product development process

We are looking for an experienced Product Research professional to join our growing Research team at Go-Jek. The Research team provides key insights to aid in the developing and execution of product design, marketing and communication, and overall operational and business strategy. This requires a combination of strong technical research capability complemented by strong business acumen and organizational prowess. The ideal candidate has the ability to balance both numeric and creative skills, is a strong communicator, and works well in a cross-functional, team-oriented structure.

This role will sit within an embedded Research team for a specific Product vertical, reporting directly to the Research Lead for that product. The role is responsible for delivering key insights that will be used to inform overall product development strategy, with key stakeholders including Product Managers, UX Designers, and Developers

• Has 4-8 years experience or more in the field of UX Design, Product Research, UX Research
• Is knowledgeable and experienced with basic survey or polling methodologies
• Is knowledgeable and experienced using qualitative research methods
• Has conducted research that addresses one of the following: identifying consumer tensions/barriers/blockers, assessing product user issues, experimental designs, product evaluation
• Has a proven track record of designing, executing, and sharing research on User experience
• Has experience hands-on managing E2E UX Research projects: Briefing, Execution, Sharing
• Can identify biases from different research techniques and advise to avoid them
• Must be currently residing in Indonesia
