- Conduct research to provide customers and fund managers with complete up-to-date and reliable information which may be used as basis for stock market investment decisions.
- Examine and explore investment ideas through company visits, interviews with management teams, survey of organizational processes and operations.
- Monitor local and international political and economic news which may affect the capital markets.
- Compare various securities of a given industry and provides an assessment of their relative quality. Evaluates the current market price of a security in terms of its value as an investment and provides a recommendation to customers and fund managers.
- Assess how industries are affected by new products, new processes, and competition.
- Analyze past performance and financial position of companies, dividend records, capital structure, and effectiveness of management.
- Provide reports, valuation statistics, and advice to customers and fund managers.
Trình độ tối thiểu
Education: College graduate of a four-year course preferably in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience: 2-3 years experience in a Research Department of a Stockbrokerage Firm/ Investment House.
Knowledge: Must have sound knowledge of Capital Markets (i.e debt and equity markets both local and global), Economies, and Politics
Skills: Good Arithmetic/Computational reasoning, clerical perception
