Billing Analyst  

Processing of Contractors Progress Billings

• Verify if billing has been authorized according to the set matrix of approvers.
• Validate the documents submitted if these are correct, complete and according to the related company policies.
• Prepare and update contract status according to the submitted percentage of completion.
• Compute for the withholding tax using the applicable tax rate while ensuring compliance to existing government rulings
• Record the transactions in SAP using the proper GL codes and Internal Orders, imposing the computed taxes, indicating the correct Cost or Profit Center, and applying the required syntax.
• Print vouchers and prepare checks/documents for fund transfer. Prepare necessary BIR form.
• Collate all related documents for approval and for routing to signatories.

Other tasks

• Responsible for clearing of assigned GL accounts.
• Answer query relating to the Progress Billing being processed.
• Maintain a file of Certificate of Registration of contractors and utility billings charged to contractors.

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Less than 1 year experience specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly EXCEL
• Knowledgeable in SAP
• Awareness of relevant tax rulings on VAT and Expanded Withholding Tax
• Analytical, Detailed oriented
• Willing to work for extended hours and can work with minimal supervision
